Zeta File Systen (Zfs) is a new file system on Solaris that provides simple administration, transactional semantics, end-to-end data integrity, and immense scalability.
The Zfs is officially supported by Oracle on 27 April 2009. Zfs is at the moment only supported for an Oracle single instance.
